Policy

Privacy.How this site handles data.

Last updated: August 2026

1. Who we are

This policy covers the public website at arnout.pro / pacsadministration.com (portfolio, interactive browser tools: Worklist, PACS Admin, HL7 Message Analyzer, and FHIR Message Analyzer, plus marketing for Dicommunication, the Android DICOM Camera lab build, and the Rebost pantry app). It is operated by Arnout van der Elst. It does not cover separate hospital systems, remote administration under a client contract, DICOM traffic or configuration inside the Dicommunication app on a device you control, patient data processed inside the DICOM Camera app on a device you control, or pantry data stored in the Rebost Android app (see the Rebost privacy policy).

2. What we collect

This site does not use a contact form. If you reach out, it is via LinkedIn, which has its own privacy terms.

In your browser we may store necessary preferences only (for example theme, cookie choice, and tool UI/demo state). That data stays on your device and is not uploaded to our servers as personal account data.

We do not store patient health information (PHI) on this public site. Worklist and Admin demos use fictional data only. Prefer synthetic samples; do not paste real PHI.

The HL7 Message Analyzer and the FHIR Message Analyzer are client-side only. Paste, import, inspect, scrub, compare, and export run as JavaScript in your browser. Message or resource content is not uploaded to arnout.pro, pacsadministration.com, or any server we operate. Optional “Remember last message” is stored only in this browser’s local storage on your device — not in a database we host. We cannot recover a message or resource you clear or close. Each analyzer’s top bar has a Client-side only control that explains benefits and limits in the app.

Dicommunication is a desktop DICOM application — connectivity testing, Dicomtag Analytics, Dicom Anonymizer, Dicom Router, and Dicom Cleaner, each its own tab (Docker, Windows MSI, or macOS DMG) — not a tool that runs in this website. This site only hosts its marketing page. The app bundles Python components (including pynetdicom, pydicom, and FastAPI) so you do not install Python yourself. AE titles, node lists, logs, DICOM associations, and any studies you query, retrieve, anonymize, route, or redact stay on your machine or hospital network — they are not uploaded to arnout.pro.

3. Cookies & analytics

Necessary: theme preference, your cookie consent choice, and tool preferences. These are required for the site to work as designed and do not need a separate opt-in.

Analytics (optional): on the production site only, we use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-WNMRM47V3E) after you choose Accept analytics in the cookie banner. If you reject (or never accept), GA does not load. Local and staging builds do not load analytics.

When enabled, Google may process usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location/device info, and similar metrics, and may set cookies or similar identifiers (for example _ga). Google acts as a service provider for this processing. You can change your choice anytime via Cookie settings in the footer.

4. Hosting & security

The site is a static website. The hosting provider may keep standard server/access logs (for example IP address, request time, user agent) for security and operations. Those logs are not used by us for marketing profiles.

Any remote PACS / Radiology IT administration services offered separately are performed over secure channels (for example VPN/TLS) under client arrangements and are outside the scope of this public website policy.

5. Your choices

You can accept or reject analytics in the cookie banner, and reopen that choice from Cookie settings. You can also clear site data in your browser to remove local preferences and demo state. Where GDPR/AVG applies, you may request access to or deletion of personal data we hold about you — for this website that is typically limited to messages you send via LinkedIn and any analytics Google processes after consent.

6. Contact

Questions about this policy: use the contact page (LinkedIn) or message Arnout van der Elst directly.
